Hi there! Now that your partner has popped the question, you’re wondering what’s next? Or is your mind racing with so many ideas? Planning a wedding is exciting for some but overwhelming for others. Planning has always been a passion for me. I’ve always enjoyed watching wedding shows such as Four Weddings, Say Yes to the Dress, and Bridezillas. While watching, I would always take note of what went well and come up with ideas on what I would do different. In 2017, I began planning my own wedding. I was inspired by the idea to help others and be an advocate for those who didn’t understand the wedding planning process. The following year I married the guy of my dreams and founded Blushing Brides.

So, who is Ericia? Well, I was born in New York and raised in Marion, SC. I attended the University of South Carolina (Go Gamecocks) where I  obtained a degree in Finance with a minor in Nursing. My senior year of college I became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. A few years after graduating, I obtained my MBA with a concentration in Management. After college, I made Columbia, SC my home and worked in the banking industry for 17 years. I have now transitioned to Human Resources in the health care industry. In addition to helping couples plan their wedding; I enjoy spending late nights on Pinterest, date nights with my husband, and attending my son’s football games.
